Permanency
Imbue an item with potent arcane energy, ensuring that the next spell cast upon it becomes permanent. However, such powerful magic comes with a risk—there is a chance the item may be overwhelmed by the enchantment's force, causing it to disintegrate under the strain.

Notes
- Costs Mana Crystals to cast.
- Permanency is used for effects that target an item, such as added damage to weapons or armor rating for armors.
- See Enchant Item for effects that target a player, such as Regeneration or Empower.
- Every time this is cast on an item, the item has a chance to disintegrate, even the first cast. See the Enchanting guide for our best current understanding of the probabilities.
